Challenge Overview

The Swiss Cycling Vertical Challenge – The Vertical for short – is a bicycle route crossing Switzerland North to South.

It starts in Switzerland’s northernmost point – in Oberbargen, Schaffhausen – and ends in Switzerland’s southernmost point – in Pedrinate, Ticino.

It spans roughly 325km and more than 4700m of climbing.
